This is the road less traveled by. Frost would approve.
Well? What are we waiting for, then?
It’s dark. Are you really sure we should go?
We have a flashlight, don’t we?
It looks wild. What if raccoons attack us?
Between the two of us, I think we can handle them. And last I checked, raccoons didn’t eat people.
But what about dragons?
Now you’re just being silly.
No, I’m not. What about dragons?
If a dragon appears, we can run away to Narnia.
Now you’re being silly.
Because you’re stalling.
But it’s cold. What if it starts raining?
We’ve got jackets. And they’ve got these nifty rain-repelling things attached called hoods.
…Did you really just use the word “nifty?”
Yes.
Why?
I wanted to make you laugh. It worked, too! Are you ready to go now?
I’m scared.
I’ll hold your hand.
How are you so sure we’ll be ok? The road is long and dark and cold, you know!
You said that already. But we’ve still got flashlights and jackets and good walking shoes. We’ll be fine.
But how can you be so sure?
Because we’re together.
