This is the place where wishes go when they’ve been forgotten.
Do you remember the wish you made when you blew out the candles on your eighth birthday? How about the wish you made when you first learned about the “star light, star bright” rhyme? What about the one you made just because you needed a wish, and there was no better excuse around, so you wished on the wooden spoon in your kitchen?
If not, chances are good that you’ll find it on this tree.
Have you heard of the law of conservation of energy? How there’s a particular amount of energy in the universe, and it simply gets moved around? Wishes are the same way. A wish never disappears, it just gets lost. So if you make a wish and then forget it, where does it go?
That’s where I come in. I take care of the tree, and the tree attracts the wishes and takes care of them. It’s a bit like attracting bees to a flower. So when people come looking for the wishes they forgot, they’re still here.
